I could swear this was a Monday with the way things have gone so far, and if I didn't know better I would swear it was Monday. I ended up over sleeping a little this morning, wok up at 8:15 was suppose to be to work at 8, but can be there as late as 8:30, so I wasn't too far off track at that point, but after throwing on my work clothes grabbing a couple bottles of Mountain Dew to take to work with me snatching up my jacket and shoes, and running out the door, I get out to my car and go to start it and it won't start. My neighbor comes home every mornng by 8:30, so I figured I'd see if I could get a jump and hopefully be on my way. Well, my neighbor was right on schedule, butjumping my car didn't work. It sounds like it wants to turn over, but can't quite get the momentum to completely turn over. So after trying for about a half hour with no luck, we put everything away and went into our apartments. Well, I thought ok, I'll call someone else who knows more about cars then my neighbor does and see if they have any thoughts or can come take a look and see if they can figure it out. So, I called the guy who helped me get my car to pass inspection and he didn't answer so I left him a message. By this time it was about 9:30 so I called into work and told them what was going on and that I wouldn't be in today, but was hoping to have the problem solved by tomorrow. I also offered to make up the time on Friday. They were ok with this, so I'm in good shape in that regard. Still waiting for the guy I called to call me back, and also waiting for this splitting headache to go away that I woke up with and is making things seem 100 times worse then they really are.
So, as a result of circumstances partially out of my control, I'm stuck at home with a semi-dead car.... just had a thought, maybe I flooded it trying to get it started .... I've done that before, so it isn't entirely impossible. Any way, I'll be around today since it doesn't look like I'm going anywhere right away.
